Swap - Your Wrangler Jeep for my 2002 Daihatsu YRV by Adam H
I'm looking for a good manual Jeep Wrangler 2.5l YJ in the south or east midlands. Ideally it won't have been off-road much, will have a good soft roof and won't be modified. I am offering a swap for my 2002 Daihatsu YRV premium - red, 1300cc VVT engine with less than 35k miles, A/C, ABS, glass panel roof, service history in excellent condition - this car usually gives around 45mpg. (Different...

Rav 4 tinted windows by RJ
I have just had Autoglass replace the front windscreen of my 2001 Rav4 VX. The new screen does not look tinted at all, although Autoglass claim it has a green tint. The other windows are clearly tinted although not what I understand is called privacy glass. Has there been a change in the tint of the front windscreen on the Rav and should it appear as tinted as it did previously. Thanks,

x-trail turbo problems by Larry Shaw
Beware, x-trails have a prolem with ceramic seals on the turbo (136bhp diesel thingy ones). Nissan have a three week back order on these and you get a service exchange one even then........ Nissan don't answer emails.... the colour wipes off the plastic wheel well cover leaving white plastic (I guess it's just sprayed with acrylic paint)..... Oh right, I forgot - nearly done 8000 miles before...

Sportage engine temperature by Paul Vatal
Hello I got my Sportage 2002Model from the Kia Service for only the usual Oil and Spark Plugs a few days ago, Today when I turned the A/C on the engine temperature stared to rise above the usual for the first time I also noticed the same symptoms with the fan but not so progressively. Why is it my impression that some thing is not right? I used my A/C even before the last Service. Any ideas

Ford Explorer suspension air leak? by trefor
1999 4L SOHC explorer I have a problem with my suspension compressor running a lot. I suspect there may be a leak somewhere. Trouble is, how do I keep the compressor running to check for leaks? If I run the engine, then switch off, open and close a door, the compressor runs for about 30 seconds or so then stops, so not enough time to crawl underneath

Ford Maverick head gasket replacement by Steve Loft
It looks like the head gasket has gone on my 2.7 TD. The radiator expansion tank fills up with coolant (and overflows) and it bubbles while the engine is running. I'd like to replace it myself - is this a fairly straightforward job for a reasonably competent home mechanic? Any pitfalls to watch out for? -- Steve Loft, Glenlivet.

Ford Explorer shocks by trefor
'99 4L SOHC Explorer, 45k miles I had some brake hoses replaced for MOT recently, and since then I've noticed the rear suspension has been very hard. I crawled underneath it today and the rear left shock seems to be siezed. I presume it may have been caused when the garage had it jacked up. ( I had switched off the air suspension) My question(s)
