Default Car/commercial vehicle insurance for a Ltd company

I have recently purchased a pickup for the company.

Who offers insurance for company vehicles.

I'm aware of the likes of Direct Line etc, but they seem to cater for
private insurance. I'm also aware I can go to my local broker but from
experience they don't normally give the best rates.

Would be grateful for help.

Get a copy of "Commercial Motor" which you can buy at WH Smith and phone
some of the specialist brokers in the ads at the back.

Many thanks for the names and ideas.

The vehicle is owned by the company and would used for occasionally carrying
goods, general travel for work but also for private use.

Thanks again.

To be honest, the best quote I've had have been from the Pajero Owner's
Club scheme with 2gether Financial Services. They've offered the keenest
quotes on my van (both now I own it and when my Ltd Co owned it), my
Pajero, and my son's Scooby. I guess that it can't hurt to give them a try.

Failing that, eVan are specialists (http://www.evaninsurance.co.uk/)
although they were way more expensive than 2gether for me, they might do
better for you.

HTH,

Geoff
