Something I have been putting off.
For some months, the lever to engage 4 wheel drive on my ancient (K reg) Hilux has refused to move. I assumed that this was due to dirt/corrosion/lack of use in the linkage and asked my garage to free it off and lubricate during a routine service. When I collected the vehicle they admitted that the problem was beyond simple measures and might involve gearbox work. Has anyone come across this feature? regards -- Tim Lamb |

Great archive and loads of good, and quick, advice. http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/index.php Dave |
