Sounds like a right Chavmobile to me.

My mind boggles at how totally ****ed up the handling will be after a
4cm drop and 3 inch increase in rim size!

Chavmobile?! What's that?

The handling is actually very good thanks Steve, it corners brilliantly with
the stiffer suspension too.

Keep telling yourself that, and you might believe it yourself.

I've played with lowering and bigger wheels, and almost always it
results in a car that handles much worse than as standard. The only
exception was my Cinquecento which had a stupid ride height to begin
with.

Note to anyone going to view the car: check out the front bearings
_very_ carefully as they tend to get knackered very quickly when you
play around with suspension / wheel relationships.

Steve, what is your problem exactly my friend?

I advertise my car for sale and you assume I'm a chav/townie/scum/whatever,
and then without ever even seeing/driving the car, start saying it's rubbish
and that I'm lying. Everything on the car was done professionally by a race
mechanic not some mod shop, I can ASSURE you that it handles very nicely
indeed.

Welcome to the uk.adverts.cars group.... or any other uk cars usenet
group......

You seem to have driven through a branch of Halfords with all the
stick-on tat / pointless 'modifications' looking at the spec you posted.

All it says to me, and most other people who regularly read this group,
is that it's a kevved up shed.

HTH.

If you want some useful advice, then I'd say this: don't advertise all
the 'mods', as they just put people off coming to look at the car. Apart
from kevs / chavs, of course.

Fair enough, you seem to have the wrong idea though, the only thing I'd buy
from halfords is a set of spanners, and that's pushing it a bit, I broke a
socket wrench clean in half the other day by hand that I bought from there.
I know what you mean by kevved up shed, there's enough of them round here
believe me, this does look/sound/drive completely different to most 'done
up' cars, in reality compared to most modded cars, this has had relatively
hardly anything done, just a few things to make it a bit different.

That chavscum site is funny though I have to admit.
