I have a BMW 525 dating from 2005 and I would like to remove or loosen the

There is no strip along the bumper that might cover bolts or screws. Can

Hi,
Our 2000 Ford Focus has developed a problem with the central locking
system. In September we noticed that it would not lock with the
remote; it would lock and immediately unlock, as if one of the front
doors was still open. It would thankfully lock and deadlock with the
key in the driver's door.
This went away, and my local garage could not reproduce it during the
service.

this scary for a private individual to buy at? I don't particularly fancy

For the past couple of times I've had the Fiesta MoT'd I've had an

Hi All,
Step daughter comes round tonight and just as she's leaving she
mentions the remote fob for her car is 'getting worse'. This
translates to needing more and more presses to get it to disable the
immobiliser.
Suspecting a bad fob battery a quick check on net suggested it's a
simple thing to re-synch (3TXA fob) in the event of changing the
battery so I checked the battery for her (3.05V).

What've you bought and wished you hadn't?
The one that sticks out to me was my 16V MK2 Golf. The previous owner had
meddled with it, which meant it did 28mpg if you drove like Dervman and the
8V that replaced it was as quick, if not quicker. And it was a stretch to
buy it, and then I discovered that loads of 16V parts are twice the price of
8V parts...
