No. If the ex-keeper doesn't transfer the plate off the car before the V5
goes to Swansea for the change of keeper, then the plate stays with the
car.

You can then either sell it separately or leave it on the car if/when you
sell it.

Will it just be a case of completing the usual change of owner bits on
the registration document?
