Default Dropped a piece of plastic down the dip stick tube

"Duncan Wood" gurgled happily, sounding much like
they were saying:

My dad said its not worth worrying this much about and that it won't
get past the oil pick up ? which protects against foreign ovject
getting in the
way.

Yup, if you've poured abrasive down the tube then take the sump off, if
it's bigger than that then don't worry about it

Hmm. I'd be hoping it didn't block the pickup mesh - and staring fixedly
at the oil pressure light for a while...

If the sump removes, do it. If the sump doesn't remove, then change the
oil.

Feel a bit of a tit for not covering the dipstick hole.

Wait till you drop a washer down an inlet manifold on a running engine.

How about dropping an M5 washer, being SURE you'd found it, then
realising you hadn't...?
