Should I just leave it and hope its ends up in the sump ? and get an oil
change in a week ?

My dad said its not worth worrying this much about and that it won't get
past the oil pick up ? which protects against foreign ovject getting in the
way.

Feel a bit of a tit for not covering the dipstick hole.
