Cobra themselves can be quite handy. IIRC they're not a million miles
from you, and are pretty useful on the phone provided you can prove who
you are and that the car is yours.
Cheers Pete, will just have to get deafened while I stick my head
arround the horn trying to model/code of the alarm.
There's a bloke here who might be able to help

I'm pretty sure it is the non-cobra replacement that is buggered so I
guess I'm in for a fisting.
The receipt for the last one was £40 code extraction and £35 for the
fob.
You may just need to re-synch the fob. Normally an easyish job.
Got the fob replaced by tech-tronic as it wasn't transmitting.
Got the new programmed cost me £35. Still nothing. Should have been
ready to go with no synching/pairing. It is an old fixed signal type fob
with a single program on board.
I would be happy if I could just get it disarmed so I can drive it home
and lock it on the key.
