What's your bid

Has anyone access to Glass's guide on here? A friend is selling his A3
and is pricing at £15k. Not sure if that is slightly too optimistic.
He would probably be looking at between £14000 and £14500, which is why he
has probably asked for £15000. He's not far out and has based his price on
a trade in valuation. A garage would give him £13500 at a push if he was to
do a trade-in, but he would have to be buying a decent car - possibly on
finance for them to agree.
Glass's Guide is not really relied upon as much as you think.
If he found the right buyer he would get what he wanted. It would require
evidence of a full service history, no silly modifications and also being
the correct model and not a cheaper one with a kit stuck on.
