i would say low down its not that great, and i know the 8v gti is a
lot more responsive here, but higher in the rev range i think it
matches a gti.
strange how the gti will easily get 35-40mpg and the driver less than
30. you would think the driver would do more.
The injection ssytem is more accurate than a carb, so unless you've got
your foot down, it's more efficeient.
its not a big problem as i'm hoping to find a gti soon, i'm still in
love with mk2's, love the shape, refinement (for the age) and
reliability. cant see myself getting a newer golf for some time.. i'd
probably skip to a mk4 next, mk3 just doesnt do anything for me..
