off, getting it cut at Timpson or likewise. But before I do all of
that I was wondeirng if I can do this with just VAG COM.

Also I know it has an immobiliser chip in the key I think its the
earlier IMMOB2 not the IMMOB3 chip, is this sold with the key
(wondering if anyone has done this before)

Doing a bit of reaserch on it so would appreciate some information if
this is a do-able job for me.

Timpsons can supply and cut a key for you and can also 'clone' the
transponder chip !!

I asked in timspon about a month back and they checked my key and told
me its a dealer only job as the transponders has a rolling code or
something like that.

Will pop in there and ask again, incase things have changed.
